Which schools serve Mooresville

MGSD students attend their zoned school based on their home address, the zoning page says. The district redrew its zones when Selma Burke Middle School opened in August 2023. It runs eight schools:

The district also links an interactive MGSD boundary map on Iredell County’s property site. Iredell-Statesville schools in the Mooresville area include Lake Norman High, The Brawley School, Lakeshore Middle, Woodland Heights Middle and several elementary schools; its zone finder gives the school for any address.

How the schools scored in 2025-26

The table shows the share of tests at grade level or above (all end-of-grade and end-of-course tests combined) and whether each school met its growth target, from the state’s disaggregated data and school assessment workbook. K-2 schools do not take state tests.
