Last checked Oct. 11, 2026. Refreshed every three months.
Downtown Mooresville has the town’s own ice cream maker on North Broad Street and a cookie shop at Mill One on North Church Street. The chain dessert shops are out by I-77, on River Highway (N.C. 150), Norman Station Boulevard and Talbert Road.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Mooresville’s town limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 11, 2026. We added Crave Cookies, Smallcakes and sweetFrog from their own location pages and placed Culver’s for its custard. Mooresville Ice Cream Co. has no website of its own; the Mooresville Downtown Commission’s restaurant directory confirms its address and phone. Dairy Queen on Medical Park Road is in OpenStreetMap, but its page blocked our check, so it is left off until we can confirm it. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
