Outdoor tables in Mooresville are mostly at coffee shops and quick-service restaurants along River Highway (N.C. 150) and Plaza Drive. Downtown, Summit Coffee has a patio on East Moore Avenue, and Merino Mill on South Main Street has a burger restaurant with a beer garden.
How we made this list. We list only places inside Mooresville’s town limits whose own website or chain store page names a patio, beer garden or outdoor seating. The places come from OpenStreetMap records, the same data behind our local directory, checked on Oct. 11, 2026. OpenStreetMap tags The Original New York Bagels and The Blue Parrot Grill with outdoor seating, but neither had a working site to confirm it. Margaritas Mexican Kitchen & Bar says outdoor seating is available without naming which of its three locations, and lakefront restaurants we could not confirm on their own sites are left off for now. The places
The Barcelona Burger & Beer Garden is one of the restaurants Merino Mill lists in its shop directory, beside Alino Pizzeria and Defined Coffee. Its own site would not load for us, so check hours before you go.
Caribou Coffee on East Plaza Drive lists patio seating along with indoor seating and a drive-thru on its store page.
Five Guys in the Plantation Point Shops on River Highway lists outdoor seating on its location page. The menu is burgers, hot dogs, fries and milkshakes.
Starbucks has two stand-alone Mooresville stores that list outdoor seating: Mount Mourne on Medical Park Road and River Highway, which also has a drive-thru.
Summit Coffee downtown says it has indoor and outdoor seating, and dogs are welcome on its patio but not indoors. If you have a dog with you, it will bring a mobile order out to the patio when you leave a note.
sweetFrog on Norman Station Boulevard is a self-serve frozen yogurt shop that lists outdoor seating on its store page.
