Labor Day 2027 is Monday, Sept. 6. It closes Mooresville’s summer: the town’s War Memorial pool season ends on Labor Day. In 2026, Labor Day brought a one-day delay for all trash and recycling routes, and the town’s free Rock the Park concert series ended that Friday in Liberty Park. 2027 details will be added as the town posts them.

Rock the Park (2026)
The town’s free Rock the Park summer series in Liberty Park, 217 E. Iredell Ave., closed on Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. with the Big 80s Tribute Band, with food trucks and local breweries. The 2027 lineup had not been announced.
Later in September: Bands, Brews & BBQ
The town’s Bands, Brews & BBQ Festival comes two weeks after Labor Day. In 2026 it ran 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, in Liberty Park, with regional barbecue vendors, a beer garden, a Family Fun Zone and country duo Big & Rich. A park-and-ride shuttle ran from One Mooresville Center, 750 W. Iredell Ave.
